was so they could revitalize that area which had basically turned into a slum. There are admittedly a few nice patches of houses in Arlington, but they are on the outskirts and are slowing declining as well. Lots of crime even if the areas look good. Most former Arlington residents have moved a bit south into Mansfield, Midlothian, and Burleson. Previous Message
. . . my exposure to Arlington was primaryily limited to the area around the stadiums and parts just off of I-30. I checked out a gun store just north of the interstate and a mall on the south side. Those areas seemed relatively nice but they were admittedly all commercial areas, not residential.
