Logic, facts, and common sense will always win out when presented at the same time. And the real problem for Biden is that he’s screwed either way. If he tries to distance himself from Trump policies, he sounds like a defund police, green new deal, socialist/communist.

And if he just tries to sound like a “normal” tax and spend liberal, well Trump already governs that way. So the only way to differentiate yourself from a populist is to go either far left or far right. And no states that matter are voting for the far left.

The left’s playbook is always about protesting something such as War, class warfare, and this year it’s the vague systematic racism. etc. But Trump hasn’t gotten involved in any wars, in fact he’s pulled troops out. And his free money economic policies, tariffs, etc are the most lib policies since FDR. Blacks been wanting reparations for years. Trump’s Covid Cash just gave you more free $$$$ than you could possibly have wanted the Fed govt to give you.

At this point, any liberal that is opposed to Trump must have Trump Derangement Syndrome. Because you’re basically opposing ideas that your own party has supported just because Trump supports them.
