"Why if Democrats are supposed to want to help everyone are they so hateful?
So there is this old guy in town, honestly looks like a retired school teacher who loves to flip me off or yell f..k Trump when he sees my truck with the American, Montana State and Women for Trump flags on it. Now in my 20's I would yell things back in multiple languages and flip him off.... Today I find blowing him kisses pisses him off sufficiently and gives me great pleasure to watch his frustration.
What I do not understand is why the "Biden" supporters are so hateful... NOT one time have I yelled, flipped off, trashed any supporter, their property or signs, flags - the "other side" seem to feel entitled to be hateful, vile, mean and so glad I am not one of them - TRUMP 2020" Previous Message
From a new Psychology paper. Another side effect of polarization. Yoda would probably say this is obvious; something about anger clouding the mind.
Anger did not affect either recognition or source accuracy for true details about the initial event, but suggestibility for false details increased with anger.... Both confidence in the accuracy of source attributions and decision speed for incorrect judgments also increased with anger.
