A friend and his wife have a rising fifth grader heading to middle school. Incoming parents got a notice from the school that said oral and anal sex were being added to the sex ed curriculum. I consider the couple open minded, yet they are somewhat alarmed regarding what exactly that means at such a young age. Their hope is that perhaps the school will teach about those subjects in a later grade and not in fifth. Otherwise, what do you say about anal sex and BJs to a ten-year-old?
