on the white side cut along the bottom with a blade. then rip the thick middle layer out. it rips easy on the perforation. that leaves you with a much more breathable mask and it’s hard to tell.

i’ve gone a step further and also ripped the white inner layer out to wear most of the time. it’s a little more obvious but no one pays attention. it’s like not having anything in from a breathing standpoint. still annoying from a feel though around the ear and face etc.
