You give anyone enough personal wealth, $$$$, standing and they’ll become whoever you want them to be, even if it’s not really who they are. She’s the Kim Kardashian of politics. Selling an image. She was a broke bartender before she got elected and now she’ll rep anything to keep her gravy train rolling.
It’s why I don’t get mad at people like Lebron James, Michael Moore, Spike Lee, or Kaepernick. They are playing to an audience and for their own personal gain. Lebron ain’t gonna say shit about China bc they pay him millions of $$$$$. But he will say BLM because blacks buy his shoes and he’s not worried about turning off whites. I respect all business decisions. It’s when owners or athletes make poor business decisions that infuriate me. NBA owners putting Black Lives Matter on the basketball court? I mean seriously? You run a billion $$$ industry and you’re going to lose millions by pissing many fans off by trying to social justice virtue signal to a tiny minority? It’s absurd.
Individuals like AOC, Kaepernick, Lebron want to cater to these groups more power to them. When big business does it, to their own detriment, that’s when societies stop functioning.
and we’ll all be better off for it.
Does her being an “elected official” make her some exalted hero?
