With the Fall Southern in Georgetown just a couple of weeks out it'd be great to know who's coming and when. My group of six or seven like to make a week long event around this shoot with time off the courses spent on Pawleys Island beaches and the bars and restaurants between the Georgetown Riverfront & Murrells Inlet. There's also a great wooden boat show that weekend in Georgetown for any in your group that may not be shooters.
We'll be shooting the practice course on Wednesday, warming up for the competition targets that follow for the rest of the week. You'll notice in the Registration Form that Rick has posted above that the Thursday events are RSVP. This is because they intend to assign trappers to shooting squads and not stations on Thursday. If you're shooting for score, you'll need a trapper assigned from the Clubhouse, and your RSVP will let the staff know how many trappers to have on hand. After Thursday, there will be trappers at each station on the courses as usual.
So let's lear from you if and when you're coming. The crew at Backwoods always puts on a great shoot for us, and when the smoke clears on Sunday we're already looking forward to next year!
