Passing of Anne Mitchell

I am surprised this was not posted before, but Anne was Jent Mitchell III's beloved wife.

I first met Anne at the Southern years ago, she was registering shooters and signing up new members. She sometimes also helped out at Pastor Charlie's shoot in April. Also most everyone on here knows of Jent and his tributes.

Annie also helped signing in guests during THE SOUTHERN at the evening dinners sponsored by the VIRGINIA VINTAGERS. Jent had interesting speakers too on various subjects. It was always a fun evening, great food and meeting folks from other collector organizations. Good memories. - RLD -

The Good die young. So sad. Annie was one of the nicest persons I know. My heart goes out to Jent.

My wife and I were heart broken at the news. Annie was a kind hearted, dear friend. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace Annie.

Such sad news! I last saw her at the Carlisle Spring Shoot, attending to registration like she always did with a huge smile and a warm greeting for everyone. Such a sweet wonderful woman. My heart goes out to Jent and his family.
