Identifying an LC Smith

I acquired an LC 10 gauge with iron sights and a shorter barrel, 23 inches. I’m thinking the gun was cut down at one time but the job looks original. Help.

It appears to be a No. 0 with damascus barrels

The wide gap between the tubes at the muzzle is typical of barrels that have been cut.

Dr. Jim's L.C. Smith Production Records lists a single hammerless No. 0 12g with 24" barrels.

Interesting gun!
The lone 24" gun that Drew refers to is presently accounted for in the possession of one of our members.
