Basso was a DeSoto and Plymouth, and later Chrysler-Plymouth dealer in East LA, apparently with good taste The gun looks to be a Schnabel BTFE VR HOT. The tape may be holding the FE on Image is 1941 And an accomplished Skeet shooter - 1936 This may be a Remington Model 32
