I have in my possession a 12 ga hammerless with serial number 200392. Flat on bottom of barrel has what appears to be a 0(zero) followed with an E. I have not been able to locate any other marking outside of patent dates, water table July 13-86 and oct 5-86, forearm haas may28,1901 I am trying to identify year and manufacturer. Thanks in advance,

Sorry these plates are plain with possibly small amount of case hardening showing and marked LC Smith

Welcome Mike. You have a No. 0 ejector L.C. Smith manufactured by Hunter Arms Co. in the early 1900s.

This is the listing in the 1902 Sears catalog

The No. 0 was supplied with "Good 2 Rod Damascus" until London (fluid) steel was supplied in 1907
