Olympic Grade Trap Gun

I have a L. C. Smith 12 gauge olympic grade trap gun. I am evperiencing light primer strikes. I have tried new and reloades. I have the same problem with both. Anyone have this problem also ?

I started to experience light primer strikes and fail to fire issues.
Can anyone tell me who to send it to to get repaired.

Freddie,you may have a firing pin that has a lot of wear on it , or a weak spring.Sometimes I found by using Remington primers there is less problem with this.Remington primers seem softer and are easier to light off.Many of the primers from accross the sea are harder and wear pins much faster.Good luck,Charlie.

You might also wish to try another brand of Ammo. I has a gun that did not like one brand, but worked fine with another. Some brands have thicker rims than others.
