https://www.trapshooters.com/threads/1927-gah.930779/ Otto & his Crown grade SBT Newlin also had a Crown grade double, both ordered through Bolles-Brendamour Co., Cincinnati, which is remarkable for a minor leaguer and "carpenter"!

Drew, Here is a Hunter Arms price list for 1927. I believe Otto would have paid about $10,000 for his Crown Grades in today's dollars. While these price lists are not flashy and often get overlooked, they hold a treasure trove of information and reference information for the collector. Thank you for sharing, this is great! Bob

Another pic of Otto and his SBT with a Schnabel FE and an ad for the VR double in the February 1929 National Sportsman I'm thinking Otto must have been gifted his 2 Crown grades when his was pitching as part of a promotion/advertisement by Bolles-Brendamour Co.
