Reinforcing stock on specialty grade

Hi
I'm looking for the best person to reinforce the stock on my Elsie. Made in 1932. Want to protect it from splitting if possible.

Where are you David? There are a number of stock specialists doing great work...and are therefore quite busy.

Mr. Drew,
If you have it I'd like some more info on Bill Graham-I'm only about 60 miles from the Raleigh/Wake County area and it might come in handy in the future, no issues right now.
Best thing is I'm only 40 miles from Deep River and the Southern Side X Side-already looking forward to it!

I’ve been at this since 1976. Honestly,there is no room for glass bedding unless you have pieces missing. A think coat can be put on but it only serves to chip out and get into your internal working parts. If your stock is English walnut you’ll fair better. I’ve restocked 384 L.C. Smith guns in my lifetime. This advice comes from the voice of experience. Jerry
