Previous owner of my gun

I traded for this Elsie about 12 or so years ago at the Fall Southern in Georgetown, SC. I traded an 0 Grade damascus 10 ga. on it, to a gentleman that was a member of the LCSCA. I believe his name was James.

I have enjoyed this gun immensely on the dove fields and would like to thank him for the opportunity to be it's caretaker since then, but cannot remember his full name. I think he was from North Carolina.

16 ga. Field grade FWE, HOT, 32" barrels. Completed on Oct. 13 (my birthday), 1925.

Perhaps he will see this and remember the transaction.

I'm sure you are referring to James Fincannon. James is a lover of big bore Smiths and was the sponsor of the Big Boomer award during the Challenge Event at the Southern Side x Side for about 10 years. James is a great guy and lots of fun.
