Marie Kautzky Grant

In case you might have missed it while paging through your March 1935 issue of Hunter Trader Trapper magazine, page 30, here is an interesting item on the 1933 Grand American trap shoot.
Mrs. Marie Kautzky Grant of Fort Dodge, Iowa is listed under the High Amateurs column as breaking 624 out of 650 clays. She then broke 44 out of 50 at the handicap station.
I would think the Kautzky family to be quite fastidious about their choice of guns so I suspect she either shot a Smith or a Fox.

Thanks Mike, I located the discussion you mentioned and there was a lot of interesting information there. Do you or anyone reading this posting know if Mr. Kautzky designed any other trigger systems for double guns other that for the Fox guns.

He began installing his single trigger in 1910, but it was not patented until 1914 and acquired by Fox

The trigger was used by Savage after acquiring Fox, but I don't believe it was factory installed by other U.S. doublegun makers
