Good afternoon, I am well aware that RST shells have been around for a while. I am also aware of their price per box. A lot of our members have had good recommendations for their products; I have used them as well with very good results. Boss shells have been advertising their shells for vintage guns. Has anybody had any experience with the copper plated bismuth? Would anybody care to share their experiences? Im interested in shooting waterfowl and doves.

I have no personal experience with the shells, but there are lots of favorable reviews on the internet. The 2 3/4" 1 1/4 oz. loads are listed at 1350 fps, and I would not use them unless the stock has been glasbedded https://bossshotshells.com/shotshells/shot-shells/

I have shot Boss shells in my vintage SxS's for two years and used about 120-150 rounds. They do make a fiber wad 1 1/4oz load that is 1250 fps and under 8000 PSI. It is not cataloged but available if you call. The load in #4 kills duck very well in my experience. I shoot the plastic wad 12ga 1 1/4 oz 1350 fps and 10000 psi in my #3 frame Parker and my Super Fox. Great stuff and A+ for customer service. They set me the case of shells that were different than the shot size I ordered. They sent me a fee case of the correct shot size and told me to keep the wrong case free of charge.
