I'm looking at a field grade featherweight ejector 16ga with HOT. It is stamped FWE 205xxx Field on the receiver and 205xxx Field on the armor steel barrel flats and has post-1922 NP proof marks.. I have all three books,(Brophy, Houchins and Stubbendieck), but cannot figure out a production date. Can anybody help? Thanks.

Never mind. Houchins describes it in Ch. 6. It is one of the last block of Fulton guns finished by Marlin in 1945 before starting the FWS series. Sorry.
