Looking for FWS forend wood

Posted by Jim Weaver on April 11, 2021, 2:15 pm

Greetings,
New to the group. I have a serial # FWS-- (1946) 16 gauge that I picked up around 30 years ago. Bought it with a corner of the forend wood chipped off and missing. I have recently decided to look into getting it fixed up (better late than never!) Rather than trying to make up a 'patch' piece, I thought I'd try to find a good useable replacement. Only really need the wood, but a complete forend would be fine. Any leads?
Thanks!

I would give Gerry Andrews a try.
