Hello everyone,
I am inquiring about the main differences between the 5e and the crown. I realize the obvious is the crown replaced the 5e and they were made at different times. But what are the main differences? Also, is one more valuable than the other?
Thanks in advance

The gold crown is about the only visible difference up to early 1920's; afterwards the shooter could get more options such as the beavertail fore end and vent rib. Gold inlays, ivory beads, monograms, etc. were always available; but the HOT trigger unit and auto-ejector options weren't available on the earliest Grade 5 examples.
