Ken, I have NOS buttplate screws but I doubt if they are pre-13. I can send you a pic if you are interested . They did come from the Hunter Arms factory. Best, Mike

Those screws were used on Syracuse and Early Fulton Arms guns. They do not have a taper like modern wood screws and most likely were made in house. The later butt plate screws were sourced from different supply houses.
Every once in a while they show up on eBay.

Thank you for the information the gun in question dates to 1893 (early fulton) era, that is what I am looking for.

Ken, The ones that I have are more like wood screws and the head is more pronounced than yours shown. NOS stands for New Old Stock. Mike
