Challenges for our website

I was notified 11-30 that Picture Trail is ceasing operations in 90 days. I have used the picture hosting site for almost 15 years as it allows for album narrative and image captions.
That means almost 5000 images here need to be transferred to another hosting site, but I need to save the captions. I DO have the images on my computer (and on a backup).

I'll start working on things here after I get my new ministry website up and Damascus Knowledge revised.

WOW! That is quite a blow to double gun owners and especially to you. Thanks for all that you do and have done, and I wish you the best in getting the images and other information transferred to another hosting site.

My much smarter and computer intuitive wife is making some progress on a new site, but it will be some time before it is up. PictureTrail should be operative until March 1.
Also working on getting > 5000 images on a different hosting site

The Home Page picture will be this cover from a 1906 trap shoot program kindly given me by Bro. Harris and enhanced by Dr. Jim

WAY too early to declare victory, but we're slogging on.

FAQ revisions

I'm slowly working through all the FAQs; correcting the format and replacing the images - which are not from an image hosting site so should remain por siempre.

Have only made it through the "General Information" section

I will likely add a tutorial with the various reassembly techniques before the PictureTrail images are sent to the great internet dump Feb. 28

The FAQ image size is however limited so we'll see if they are adequate.
