LC Smith Engraver

I am a new member, and new to collecting LCS shotguns. Was wondering if anyone knows if Ron Collins worked for LCS as an engraver in the 1920’s? Thx.

Jim: is this in reference to engraving on a Crown restoration?
Ron Collins was a British trained engraver who worked in the trade there before coming to the U.S., I believe in the 90s. He was still active in 2010 but I couldn't find a current website.

Thx Drew, appreciate the information, I found a Crown for sale, and it seemed priced below market, now I know why, there was no mention of the gun being restored. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
