Does anyone know if the post Christmas LC shoot at Lehigh Valley SC is still in play? Thanks, John

There is no telling what the Governor of Pennsylvania will do in the next week or 2 weeks or 4 weeks in the way of actions to combat the Red China Wuhan Virus ...... We most likely will not know if the L C Smith After Christmas Shoot will be or not be until 72 hours before the shoot ...... If I am recalling correctly LHVSC was totally shut down back in May of 2020 by the government for several weeks ..... LHVSC was allowed to reopen for shooting on June 18 of 2020 to the best of my knowledge ..... Currently Pennsylvania is threatening to shut things like LHVSC again .... Pennsylvania is making threats against people who are not residents of Pennsylvania who might travel to Pennsylvania ..... So if a medium size group of people cannot go to church together well what does that mean for a gun club ???..... posted by Jent Mitchell on Nov 29 of 2020.

As far as I am concerned the post Christmas shoot is on. If regulatory issues in Pennsylvania interfere I would recommend trying for a venue in a neighboring state. Keep your powder dry.

Covid test

From what I have been hearing, non residents have to have an up to date covid test and show the results when entering PA, the same is true for N.Y.
Then just hope that you don't have to show a new one if you spend more than a few days in that state.

On Sunday I attended church in Pennsylvania, crossing the Delaware River from my home in New Jersey with no covid test or quarantine. No need to worry. Upon calling Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays I had a nice chat with Emily about our shoot on December 30 where we project 10 shooters from the LC Smith Collectors Association. I assured that our people will have masks and practice appropriate social distancing. As we get closer to the date it might be helpful to get a head count this year so that we can give LVSC a proper estimate. Let's get our Elsies ready. Keep calm & carry on.
