Gladiator Tournament Grade

Bought it without knowing what it was and have been pleasantly surprised with my initial research. I’ve been in the doublegun game for 25 years and have learned to buy the gun and not the name. I think this philosophy might have paid off in this instance...

Tournament grade

congratulations on your find, Lloyd. I have two Gladiator Tournament grades, the latter SN 38453. According to the records only 51 guns were made in 12 gauge and 10 in 16 gauge. However, I think there were more than 51 manufactured in 12 gauge. When I requested a letter for SN 38453 Dr. Jim informed me that the records show that it is a Fulton box lock. I would request a letter to find out if it is the same situation with your gun. Still aren't find as there aren't many out there. Tom

Lloyd, you did well on your purchase. That is only the second one I have seen. I have a Gladiator hammer gun and that is the first one I have seen.
Good luck with yours and it is a very nice looking gun. great wood.

Good to hear from other members about their Gladiators. They are few and far between. As David said, he has a 12 ga. hammer, I have a 16 ga. hammer and I know of only one other member that has a Gladiator Diamond in 12 ga. Thanks, Drew, for the advertising. I had never seen that before
