I have a 16 ga Ideal FW with two issues, first firing pin on the right barrel sticks out about a 1/4 inch and won't let the action open,I suspect it is broken, any thoughts. Number 2 issue is when shooting with trap loads/light load. The barrel release lever moves enough to allow the action to open slightly. The spring seems solid, good resistance, snaps into place on closing. Any thoughts on this one... Thanks MY
use a wooden dowel rod to tap the pin back

use a wooden dowel rod to tap the firing pin back .... slide the 36 inch long dowel rod down the barrel ..... you might have to tape a dime or something to the end of the rod to create a hard surface to go against the tip of the pin .... Jent
