I couldn't find a Brown & Couch Hudson-Essex nor a C.H. Preston Motor Co.

Great picture, I like it. I've got a bismuth load to pattern for wood ducks for the October opener here in Illinois.

There is a Preston Motor Co. @ 712 West 2nd Avenue. I believe that location is in Portland Oregon. There is an ad from the Spokesman Review from April 1, 1934. Also found in 12/01/1935 in a Seattle Sunday Times newspaper ad. I did not find a Hudson motor car ‘Dealership’ listed for Preston. I looked in states that had a city named Portland - Maine Oregon Wisconsin and Tennessee. I did not see the ads that I mentioned above. Interesting picture. I believe the winged logo is for a Hudson Terra-plane automobile. Happy Trails.

It looks like a 30" 16 ga FWE. If it is, I have one just like it. It is really fun to me, thinking about the hands that touched these guns in the past and what events were changing the world while ole Cletus there was blasting ducks.

There is a Portland, TX. It is across the bay from Corpus Christi.
