LC Smith safety problem

I have a 410 Hunter One Trigger that the safety cannot be engaged after firing one barrel. Any info is appreciated

I would not mess with the trigger group, as they are very complicated and Jerry is one of the few in the country who can work on them. The safety issue should be easy to fix, but I'd talk to him first, in case there is something wrong with the trigger.

Your issue stems from the floor plate spring being week or broken or you might have a spur on the post on which hook sits. I'm guessing it's the spring however. It will need a new one. Thanks much, Jerry
