Inquiring about "The L.C. Smith Man" Walt Schiessl

Hi,
I spoke to and bought a few guns from Walt Schiessl about 18 years ago. I still have his card and phone number, however the phone number doesn't work anymore. He was refereed to as "The L.C. Smith Man". I have wanted to get in touch with him, or maybe someone associated with him regarding one gun in particular that I purchased from him. I have a few questions that I wanted to discuss. I have seen his name mentioned several times on this forum. I was hoping that somebody may be able to help direct me to someone that I could speak with on behalf of Walt. I would greatly appreciate any information.

His best Friend, "Beans" (who also posts using other handles), recently posted to the doublegunshop forum that Walt had passed on; but before checking out, had bequeathed to him the moniker "The L.C. Smith Man". Based on my personal experience with Walt, I wouldn't put much stock in any information he'd provided; and based on Brother Bean's posts, I'd hold his opinions in the same regard. There are a fair number of forum members here with far more knowledge of Smith guns than Walt ever had; but Cliff White could certainly lay claim to the current title "The L,C. Smith Man" as regards Smith guns and company artifacts, and Jim Stubbendieck as to sheer volume of knowledge on Smith guns.
