Pastor Charlie

Pastor Charlie had heart surgery yesterday. I spoke with his wife a few minutes ago and she told me that the 3 hour surgery went well and he is recovering in ICU in Baltimore. She asked me to express the families thanks for all of your continued prayers and wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas. When I spoke with Charlie earlier this week he said plans are well under way for Carlisle this spring and he is looking forward to seeing everyone

May God continue to be with Brother Charlie as he recovers. Brother Charlie is a fine individual, and is someone who has been a tremendous ambassador for the LCSCA and the L.C. Smith shotgun. Get well soon Brother!

Pastor Charlie Brooks has led us in prayer before every LCSCA annual meeting. He has said Grace prior to our meals. He has conducted a devotional service on Sunday at every Southern Side-by-Side event. What a blessing he has been to our shooting fraternity! May the Lord speedily and completely heal our dear Pastor Charlie.

I spoke with Pastor Charlie tonight on the telephone......He is back at home from the hospital now......The Doctors cut him open big time......He thinks it will be six weeks before he can do anything much......He is hoping to be back in full operation by March in time for the LCSCA Spring SXS Shoot at Carlisle, Pennsylvania......Jent

I want to thank everyone who prayed for me and thought of me during this ordeal.The Lord touched me through the various doctors and other methods.I had the complete covering around the heart removed.I look like a big football,with a foot long cut.Recovery should take several months for me to get well enough to shoot.I would like to load a stockpile of shells during my down time,but the docs tell me that any pushing or pulling would be bad for me.I am looking for a power unit to use with my Mec 9000G loaders.If anyone may have one for sale or to loan me for a while please contact me. 410-756-2095 Have a blessed New Year,I know that mine is.Charlie.

Bill,thanks for the offer.I am waiting for the docs approval to go up in my loading room in my shop building to do anything.It's not that I don't have any loaded ammo,I love to just tinker with new loads.My main goal is to be healed enough to shoot by our Carlisle Shoot.Thanks again for everyones thoughts and prayers.Charlie.

Pastor Charlie Is In The Hospital Today

Pastor Charlie had to go to the hospital last night, May 12th of 2020. Pastor Charlie's wife is a very experienced medical nurse. Pastor Charlie was not feeling good last night so Marion, his wife and nurse, checked his blood pressure and heart beat. His heart beat was way to fast so he went to the hospital and has stayed overnight. They got his heart beat down to about 90 bpm last night. The Doctors are doing some more test today.
