I want to stay on topic and not go after people personally
This started for me over on the 16ga board
I asked the question here not as a means of beating someone up, but to settle a point of fact.
I do not believe Whitworth ever made Damascus barrels and therefore could not of sold Damascus barrels of their make to LC Smith.
I know many highly educated and experienced shotgun guy, like you, frequent this site and if I am wrong, will point it out to me and provide something to back it up
Say maybe a picture of a set of Sir Joseph Whitworth Damascus, or an authoritative source showing I am incorrect.
