As your grandfather's gun, it is of course a family treasure and invaluable. It has however been neglected, has a cracked stock, and damascus barrels which may not be safe to shoot, with any load. Any attempt at restoration would cost far more than the practical value of the gun. Please check the FAQ section for clean up suggestions, then hang the gun in a place of honor in your home, possibly after removing the firing pins to disable it. revdoc2@cox.net
