My name is James Rogers, please call me Jim. I'm 64 yrs young, married to the same girl for 39yrs this coming July. Interest's in garden tractors, archery, .22's revolvers and rifles, mainly Marlins, and tri five Chevy's. I own a red/white '55 2dr sedan.
I finally received my Grandpas shotgun after to many years. Happens to be a L.C. Smith with hammers. 12 gauge and 28' barrel. Now I happen to live 15 minutes from Williams Gunsight and had their buyer (of used guns)take a look at it, he found a serial number of 25599F. He placed the year at roughly 1890-1900. I love this old gun, there is a story there too. It isn't for sale at any price. I also have my Dad's unfired Browning A5 12 gauge. And my own Win 1300 pump 12 gauge.
I'd appreciate any info about it you may like to pass on.
