I have recently acquired a LC Smith 20 Guage with ejectors. When I break it down to clean it and remove the fore arm I have difficulty reinstalling the forearm. I can stand the gun on the butt and press down very hard, it will lock in place or I can break the action two or three inches and it goes on very easy. Is this normal? My other LC has extractors and goes on very easy. I don't know if it is needed but the serial number is FwE 53570.
