Ideal Grade - 12 Gauge - Help PleaseArchived Message

Greeting Friends, This evening I ran across a very nice 12 gauge, Ideal grade. Blue and case are nice, and engraving is crisp. It also has a three position safety, automatic ejectors, and Hunter One trigger. I would have laid the $599.00 asking price on the table if it were not for the following: recoil pad is a dried out after market number, stock may have an old refinish (but not broken), and the owner wasn't sure if the 26 tubes were cut (didn't have bore diameter tool). Would appreciate opinions and if anyone know where to find info on how it was originally configured. Also serial number is S16431 and stamped "FW." Thanks John
