My advice is if you are going to use a gun hard like for instance Grouse hunting, I would buy a sound gun with as little finish as you can stand and use the Hell out of it. If you are looking for a gun to shoot clays or use for some "Gentleman hunts" I would buy a gun with all the original finish you can afford, and use it carefully. All said and done what I say is.........you are a long time dead, and most older people I know are not sorry for the things did, they are sorry for the things they did not do. You will never be sorry for buying a high condition quality gun, no matter how you use it!
