IMHO now is a good time to start as the LCSCA is making available to members a "guns for sale" section on its website. In using it you will have access to guns currently owned by knowledgeable Smith collectors who generally know what they have and/or are liquidating, as opposed to "flippers".
Drew's advice is sound--- heed it!
