Mike, sounds like rabbits must have been more plentiful than ducks & geese in this guns past history. The wildfowl & long range gun chokes were a very unique design by LC Smith. They had bragging rights to clean killing waterfowl 80 yards + these guns were made to compete with the AH Fox HE grades which I believe we're the 1st SXS guns to shoot the 3" magnum shells also for killing waterfowl at distances farther than ever imagined. The fox guns were also tightly choked. I'm afraid if someone has cut 6" off the gun your looking at now has virtually no choke in either barrel.
