If I'm not mistaken, this is only the 2nd year of the 16 gauge event with 2016 being the inaugural year; an LC Smith gun won last year's event, but by ONLY one target.
As to the LC Smith vs Parker Challenge Event, 13 shoot-outs are in the history books with Team LC holding a narrow 7 to 6 edge in overall victories. This event is also very competitive with teams claiming a couple of wins by only three targets. But the truth is that victory is not determined so much by the make of gun (they all go boom); but in the ability of the shooter/s instead. Team LC has been blessed with an abundance of slightly better shooters in recent years.
