    You can contact and request a research letter from Jim Stubbendieck thru this web site, as Jim has done extensive research and generally can provide more information than Cody; but for the most part, the only records we have for these fine old double guns are the shipping records therefore it may never be possible to uncover the information you seek via surviving company records. On guns of this grade gold inlayed initials of the original owners are not uncommon, and sometimes one can utilize those clues to ID an owner. I've seen one 16-bore Premier with a gold inlayed signature, but it's serial number is not in the Brophy recap. Should you now be the owner of that gun I do know the ownership story that was shared with the dealer.
