Hi Jent thanks for the response! The stock dimensions are just about right, unfortunately I can't shoot it before I buy it, I found the seller online. The shop selling that is selling it is a little hard to deal with. In the past with other dealers I've always been given a 3 day inspection period, which is fair. But this particular seller want a 20% restocking fee if the gun is returned...... which I don't care for! But at $3,000 I've yet to see a Crown grade anywhere. So, I may purchase it and try my luck?? I did the same with a regular trap grade that was restocked at some point by Pachmayr and it's my favorite gun. But the higher grades have usually been out of my price range. Although I do have a Fox CE believed to be owned by Patton, and a beautiful little Harrington & Richardson 28ga hammer gun in what appears to be unfired condition. But the high grade Elsies usually are too expensive.
