Hi John,
I'm right outside Boston and collect side by sides, there not many good gunsmiths that work on old doubles in the area. There's a gentleman named Mike LaRocca out in Worcester who mostly does newer stuff but worked for Pachmayr out in California years ago. He's super nice and a wealth of knowledge. There's also a gentleman out in the western part of the state that specializes in old shotguns but it a haul out there. If your ever in Maine Cole's gunsmithing is fantastic!
