    Danny: the hang tags that were attached to your 05' and 11' 00s likely listed 1 1/8 oz. 3 1/4 Dr. Eq.
    Pressures for that load with Bulk Smokeless were about 8500 psi and Dense Smokeless 9500 - 10,500 psi.
    "Good wood" means the gun receiver and the stock have been separated and the head of the stock carefully examined. VERY few 110 year old Smiths are crack free.
    IF the stocks have been glasbedded or cyanoacrylate impregnated AND the wall thickness is adequate, I would be confident using shells for which the gun was designed.
