    To add to what Jimmy stated, the double bead is great to have on a gun that you trap shoot with. The reason is to stack the beads like a figure 8. Since trap targets are all rising, the double bead stacked lets you put the bead below the target and still lets you see the target, otherwise you would be obscuring the target with the barrel.

    With any other application as to shooting as in sporting clays, skeet, 5 stand, bird hunting, the beads do not help much as you need to focus on the target and not the beads.
    The most important thing is that the gun fits you, so that when it is mounted the sight plane is the same every time. After that you know where the barrel is.
