    Thanks David. I only joined the "elsie" family about 8 years ago. Bought a Fox around the same time, but pretty quickly decided I much preferred the look of the "elsie" with the side locks. Luckily the first two I found were field 16's, a 1911 and a 1945. Then two 12's, both 1899 or so. An OO with armor steel and an O with Damascus. Also got nephew interested. H bought a mid 30's 12 field, and had Jerry Andrews, totally redo it. Killed his first turkey with it, so became his turkey gun. My grandson, using the 1911 16 got his first turkey with it, as did I. Son gonna use it this year, instead of cross bow. Hopefully he'll get one with the 16 also. Be nice, 3 generations with the same gun. Again thanks, David. You're a National Treasure in the "elsie" world.
