It believe that is a transition gun. It has all the attributes of a Syracuse Quality 7 except for the rounded lug going through the receiver. The serial number puts it to 1889-1900. The other thing is I have never seen a Syracuse Quality 7 with a straight stock. Even though the barrels state "L.C. Smith Maker Syracuse N.Y.", I believe the barrels were fit to a Fulton reciever.
