Thanks (again) Dick. The last time I fired the gun was in 2011 before I sent it to Doug Turnbull Restorations. Using Bismuth shells I fired it maybe 7 or 8 times ducking hunting with no problems at all. Since then its been "fired" only with snap caps during my annual cleaning. If the trigger was designed to use the recoil from the first round (right barrel) being fired to securely set the trigger for the second shot then this would explain it-----although-----the trigger has worked many times properly with snap caps. So is the trigger an inertia trigger or mechanical one? My limited understanding of single triggers is that an inertia trigger DOES require recoil to make it work properly while a mechanical one doesn't. Thanks again! Bill
