    Will is correct. That look is not the result of natural aging. The frame has been stripped and treated with something to give it a French grey appearance, and the top lever is incorrectly blued. If you like that look, that's fine. But in terms or looking original or authentic, its definitely not. I much prefer a properly done recolored gun to one that looks like that or has a blued frame. You can go to the Guns for Sale page on my site and scroll down to #6, an LC Smith 2E that I recolored recently to see an example of what I believe to be a properly recolored gun. And no, I don't get warpage or any other problems with my case coloring process.
