Rick, The Fulton Special although not an L.C. Smith was still made by Hunter Arms Co., and is included here also.
There is not much written about it and hopefully we can help you get your gun back up and shooting.

If you are familiar with working on guns and have the correct screw driver bits then we can proceed on disassembly.

Your Fulton Special should look the same as this Gladiator (Hunter Arms also). After taking barrels off, release trip for top lever, put block of wood in front of firing pins and push safety off and fire both barrels. Remove trigger guard, remove screw that is hidden under trigger guard to top tang. Push top lever as to open gun, loosen screw on bottom of trigger plate, remove top tang to trigger plate screw and remember how many revolutions you made, (screw under lever).
Remove bottom trigger plate screw, lift and slide out trigger plate towards butt of stock.
    Gently take stock off receiver.
Remove sear retaining screw (one shown in picture)on the side you need to replace firing pin.

Here is the part that I have never done on this type of box lock, but you have to compress the hammer in order to remove the screw on the receiver (see picture) and then slowly release pressure on hammer until you can slide hammer out to access spring and firing pin.

IF the firing pin looks like this one from The Fulton, follow the pictures in putting it back

This picture is of The Fulton as is a later gun (2 pin side, 3 screw bottom plate)

If there is a mistake in the last procedure, maybe someone can post what is the correct procedure.

To re-cock the gun, place a narrow screw driver on top of the hinge pin, and under the cocking plate, raise up until you hear two clicks. A gun with these types of sears, you might have to put the sear in the hammer notch as you are compressing them, there is no spring pressure to reset them. The weight of the lower part of the sear sets it.
