    Zachery, you were lucky enough to see where the pin was to drive it out. I have one that I know where it should be but have no tell-tale as to it's exact location. I guess when I am ready I will have to put some dye in that area to pick up the outline of the pin.


    It has been awhile, but try this.Put the joint check in the hole, put the spring and extractor pin in where the extractor goes and compress it with a dowel and then rotate the joint check and look into the pin hole to see if it is aligned. It will only go in one way so if the pin does not go in, reverse the extractor pin and try again.
    I believe the orientation is the way it is in the picture.
